As pet owners ourselves, we understand how hard it can be to leave your furry family behind. That’s why we focus on creating a calm, consistent experience built on trust, communication, and care. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, overnight care, or boarding, every pet is treated as if they were our own.

Hi, I’m Erin — the owner of Salt and Paws

I’m a lifelong animal lover with a passion for providing thoughtful, dependable care for pets of all kinds. By day, I work remotely as a product designer, which gives me the flexibility to be hands-on with the pets I care for and fully present during each visit.

I believe great pet care comes from consistency, patience, and truly getting to know each animal’s personality and routine. Whether I’m stopping by for a visit, heading out for a walk, or staying overnight, my goal is always the same — to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.

I’m proud to run Salt and Paws alongside my husband, Dan, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to care for such amazing pets and their families.

Dan is the calm, steady presence behind Salt and Paws Co — and what many of our clients affectionately call the pet whisperer.

He has a natural way with animals, especially those who may be shy, nervous, or slow to warm up. Pets tend to gravitate toward him, and he has a gift for building trust quickly through patience, consistency, and a gentle approach.

Whether it’s a long walk, an overnight stay, or simply keeping a routine on track, Dan takes pride in making sure every pet feels comfortable and secure. His attentiveness and easygoing nature make him an invaluable part of the Salt and Paws team.

Together, Erin and Dan work as a team to provide thoughtful, dependable care. Ensuring every pet feels right at home while their owners are away.

Caitlin is a true animal lover with a big heart and an even bigger soft spot for cuddly pets. As a recent college graduate, she brings great energy, responsibility, and enthusiasm to the Salt and Paws team.

She has a natural way of making pets feel comfortable and cared for, whether that means playtime, walks, or simply curling up for some much-needed snuggles. Caitlin is especially great with animals who crave attention and affection, and she takes pride in making sure every pet feels safe and loved.
